Challenge: Blending new performance with historic character in Clarkdale

This Clarkdale project required a modern, energy-efficient roofing system that would stand up to Arizona sun while visually harmonizing with a century-old façade. The scope extended beyond the TPO roof to include decorative metal work for the rooftop bar and stair bulkhead—high-visibility elements that needed to be weather-tight, architecturally appropriate, and cleanly integrated with the new roofing system.

Solution: Fully adhered TPO system with custom metal craftsmanship

We installed a Class-A, fully adhered Carlisle 60-mil TPO system over 1″ polyiso insulation for reliable thermal performance and long-term durability, following Carlisle Total System Warranty specifications. Parapet walls were finished in a coordinated Rock Brown TPO, and new coping metal provided a crisp, protective termination. On the architectural side, we wrapped the rooftop bar and stair bulkhead with 7/8″ exposed-fastener corrugated panels over Tyvek and 1″ polyiso, fabricating custom flat-stock trims for clean lines and consistent shadowing. The result is a unified historic-meets-modern look across the second-story exterior.
